Paper craft project no. 144: Happy happy birthday

2014-02-21 CAS Happy happy birthday

Quickie post today, as I’m entering this card to a couple of challenges that are ending in a few hours. Eeeek! Talk about cutting it close. Made this card this morning as a sort of request to DH — since I’m going to be devoting the rest of today to getting the icky draft for my business case done, I made a small request: that I need a few a minutes at my craft table to create a card. In the meantime, he can get breakfast started — I think it’s fresh salad, brown rice, and some spicy vegan mandarin orange chicken on the menu :-)

This week, Less Is More and CAS on Sunday are looking for masculine cards so I decided to go for monochromatic masculine colors — Teal Zeal (Memento) and Broken China, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks.  Then at The Paper Players, it’s stars on a CAS project. I stamped the stars (from 7Gypsies), spatters, and sentiment (from STAMPloration) in different blue inks. The “happy” on the teal textured cardstock is stamped in Unicorn ink (Hero Arts).

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a nice weekend :-)
