Paper craft project no. 131: Let’s Celebrate!

2014-02-05 OLC Lets Celebrate
Here’s an A2 card that I thoroughly enjoyed making — mainly because it’s one layer and so easy to create — all I needed were inks and 1 stamp set (Holiday Artsy from STAMPlorations). I was able to combine 3 of my favorite challenges: I based my design on the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch #62, used the colors at Less Is More – Rainbow (and they turn 3!), and used repetition at One Layer Simplicity Challenge #2 – Can You Repeat That?

To create my card, I repeatedly stamped the brush stroke in rainbow colors. (I used Memento Dew Drop Inks — Love Letter, Tangelo, Dandelion, Cottage Ivy, Nautical Blue, Elderberry, and Grape Jelly.) Next, I stamped the ink blots and ink stains. Last, I repeatedly stamped my sentiment in different rainbow colors as well. And that’s it! Took less than 10 minutes to make :-)
