Paper craft project no. 129: Hello

2014-02-01 CAS Hello - stamplorations

It’s sketch time on the STAMPlorations blog and here is my card based on Sketch #5 — I decided to flip the sketch. To create this square card, I trimmed watercolor paper down to 4.5″ by 9″, scored it, and folded it in half. Next, I trimmed a piece of textured cardstock (DCWV) and adhered it onto the bottom area of my card base. I used a TH scallop edge die to die-cut the bottom. I adhered two more pieces of textured cardstock onto my card base. Next, I stamped faux stitches in tuxedo black (Memento). On a scrap piece of watercolor paper, I stamped my jar, gingham ribbon, stems and flowers then cut them out and adhered them to my card with foam dots. I stuck sequins to the centers of my flowers and finished the card by stamping the sentiment in dark purple archival ink (Ranger).

Please check out the awesome projects made by the rest of the STAMPlorations design team. We have a new design team member joining us this month, as well as a guest designer! We’d love to have you enter your projects there! We welcome all styles and you can create projects using supplies from any company. Our sketch challenges are sponsored by All About Scrapping.
