Paper craft project no. 53: Love is everything

2013-09-11 OLC Love is everything

Here’s an A2 one layer card I made earlier. I was thinking about what my husband said to me this morning — that no matter how much we argue or how much I screw up (I was a bit down after getting an upsetting email yesterday — and I let a stranger’s opinion get to me), he’s going to always love me and nothing can change that. And so as I was going through my stamps, I found this sentiment. How apropros is that? Since the hubby keeps a good ten-foot distance between him and my stamps in any direction at all times, I doubt he’d seen this sentiment ;-)

I’m linking this up to a few challenges:  CAS(E) This Sketch #44; A Creative Romance Challenge: CAS Style Cards; Totally Gorjuss Challenge #200: Anything Goes; Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #62: Make Your Mark; and A Little Bit Crafty Challenge: Clean and Simple.

Stamps: flowers, vase (Hero Arts); sentiment (Cloud9 Design)
Inks: jet black (Ranger Archival ink)
Other: dandelion, angel pink, summer sky, lulu lavender, lilac posies (Memento markers); mustard seed, spiced marmalade, crushed olive, peeled paint, dusty concord, fired brick, weathered wood, antique linen, bundled sage, frayed burlap (Tim Holtz Distress markers); bone folder

I started this blog two months ago and since then, I’ve come across so many great blogs. Thought I’d mention some of the incredibly creative ladies I’ve “met” and whose blogs I’m now following (don’t want to miss any of their stuff!): Anita of My Papercraft World; Joni of Papell with Love; Nonni of Runaway Cards; and Sandie of London Days. Hop on over to their blogs — their cards are pure eye candy!

And I’ve got another blog where I’m hosting a holiday papercrafting challenge. The challenge runs until September 22. Any kind of papercrafting project is welcome — cards, tags, scrapbook/album covers, home decor. I would love for you to be there!

I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. Thank you for taking a peek!

    • Hi, Viv! Thanks…and yes, he knows just the right words to say to make me feel better…and I know he means every word of it! Thanks again for stopping by — and your latest LIM card is beautiful! (I may skip the current LIM challenge because I don’t have anything I can use for for the rust color — the closest I have is my sienna ink but it’s more red than rust.)
