A2 card using direct stamping.
A little bit about this card: I was going through my art supplies last night and found a couple of zip lock bags containing ColorBox Cat’s Eye chalk and pigment ink pads. I’d forgotten about these ink pads. (Well, I didn’t know where I had stashed them — out of sight, out of mind!) I think I got them 3 or 4 years ago. Several were still sealed in their packaging. I was afraid they’d be dried up but they were all still moist (miraculously!), save for two ink pads. So I’m 58 ink pads richer–yay! I thought I’d give my distress ink pads a break and use these babies in today’s one layer card :-D I also made this as a birthday card for my brother — it’s simple and not too girly that I think he’d appreciate it.
Stamps: decorative strips (Kaisercraft), sentiment (TPC Studio)
Inks: warm red, citrine, wisteria, french blue, orchid pastel, surf (ColorBox Cat’s Eye chalk and pigment ink pads); jet black (Ranger Archival)
Edited to add: I’m entering this card to the Birthday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World :-)
